Waves for Change was honoured to attend the BILD / ICES symposium in Accra, Ghana this month, hosted by partners UK Sport. The symposium bought together practioners from across the African continent and provided an opportunity for reflection on the roles and development of community coaches and the sharing of best practice amongst some of the worlds oldest and most experienced Sport for Development organisations.

Waves for Change was honoured to be included in the roster and founder Tim Conibear attended to present the work Waves for Change has been doing around the development of community surf coaches.

We look forward to our continued participation in the UK Sport network and to the development of the Waves for Change programme.
